in manchester UK, 25, and i'm not too hot, at all, with hooking up... thus far... I read 'the game' a year or so ago and didnt really do much about it but i'm trying to get in to it now, i just started rules to the game but i need to hugely increase my confidence before i can get anywhere... goals are to gain confidence and get on the fucking horse... so to speak... any help, info, advice you want to throw my way would be awesome... |

Hey man, the biggest piece of advice that I can give you is to learn multiple methods. I feel that the "old reliable" method of PU is the Mystery Method, but personally, I don't like to use it to a point because I feel that it inhibits my own personality and creativity. That's just me though. Plenty of people LOVE the MM. my point is just that in order to find out what YOU like, you need to try out the different methods. Also, as far as confidence is concerned remember this: be enthusiastic; be opinionated; be fun. Why hold back? All holding back does is prevent people from getting to know the real you. Wouldn't you rather be enthusiastic and really project a strong frame of who YOU are? So why hold back? There is no downside to being enthusiastic at all, and really, that's what "confidence" is: not being afraid to be yourself. If the goal in this game is to get the girl to like you, then the easiest way to do this is simply showing you who you really are (this is actually the mindset that led me away from Mystery Method). This leads me to another point. You need to determine what you want out of Pick-up. Some guys want to get laid. Me? I want to find the right girl. Other guys want to do it to learn more out about themselves. You need to determine what you want out of PU, and then taylor your game to fit that goal. Best of luck. Cheers. |
