| Post subject: | total AFC.. critique my pua "workout" regime |
Hi I'm 26 a total AFC with major AA and left in my town after most of my friends left from the Midland in UK. Anyway Here is what I am doing to try to learn some pua skills and more importantly develop my inner game which is none existent: 1: Reading the Game by Neil Strauss 2: Reading The Dating Attitude By J.D. Dallas 3: Reading Double Your Dating by DD 4: Gonna buy and spend about 2 hours a day watching either The Blueprint Decoded or DD's Man Transformation, or his Deep inner game. (any suggestions on which is better would be much appreciated) 5: Trying to go out more to shopping centres etc and complete the newbie mission.. So far have about handled the eye contact part! 6: Spending a lot of time of this forum reading a lot of the posts I’ve been doing this (apart from number 4) for about a week and am starting to feel better about myself. Also, even though I’m a loner, it gives me a great feeling along the lines of “the forum has my back”, this alone helps when I’m out and about. Anyone have any opinions on this schedule? Am i reading the right stuff? Anything I am missing? Thanks! |

You could probably use "The Rules of the Game" by Neil Strauss. It's a 30 day program designed to introduce most of the basic PUA skills to someone. |

I am a complete newbie myself but I will give you my honest opinion. It sounds to me like you are hiding in the theory and staying out of the field. I can see it because I have done it myself. If you want to stick with the "work-out" analogy what you are doing now is eating the diet, reading the muscle magazines, and staying out of the gym. I would say you need to get your feet wet bro. |

You are right mate..and I knew this right from the start.. I just don't have the confidence at all to go out and get my feet wet. I know I prob won't get it by just doing all the theory work too.so I'm kinda stuck!

I'm kind of a AFC myself, but think about it this way. What do you have to lose? When you go out you can get shot down all night and you would still come back with everything you left with. you got nothing to lose and everything to gain. This way of thinking about it has so far transformed me from a total loser to a pretty likable guy in no time flat. |

What about the Flow? I read about this book and I beleive it gives you exercises to use in the field. So that would be a good solution if you are having trouble breaking from theory into practise. Me, I'm gonna go read the game and maybe rules of the game after. In the meantime just gonna go out and do newbie exercises and continue practising my existing game and learning. |

If really like to know which is better out of "man transformation" and "blueprint decoded" too. Any opinions from people who have seen both? Thanks Jonny |
