Hey guys, For the purpose of this forum i'd like to have a alternative name so im gonna go with "telegame". Im a 23 year old student from England. I've never had much trouble with pulling women, in fact i have been with quite a few. The reason i'm exploring this new world of pick up artistry is for a few reasons: 1/ To become better at picking up women, 2/ To gain more confidence with approaching women/groups of women/mixed groups, 3/ To better understand how the mind works, 4/ T o gain confidence. As i mentioned before I am pretty confident with talking to women and approaching them, but my confidence took a massive knock after being with a girl for 3 years that ended badly. I have found myself back in the hunt for women but my approach to it seems 3 years out of date aswell, this is turn has knocked my confidence abit more. Upon a friend suggesting I read Neil Strauss' "The game" I became facsinated by the idea of there being a proven technique. Things I read in the book I could relate to, like some of his approaches or negs, even the idea of paying less atention to the target first of all I had employed myself purely through trial and error and was unaware of anyone else doing this. My main technique was always "be better, more interesting, and unique than the last guy that tried it". I found a good routine that worked for me and was happy with it, then I settled down with a lady and quickly forgot my "game", I had lost my confidence, and found when I was back out on the hunt the girls I could easily of taken home before, i now didnt have the confidence to speak to them. Girls would give me the eye or show me signs and I knew myself that all I had to do was try but I coldnt bring yself to talk. Luckily my confidence has improved somewhat over the past few months, Im not back to my A game but with the help of others on here I would like to bring my game to uncharted territory, my confidence soaring and my social life booming again. Thanks for listening guys, if anyone can relate to my situation and has any advice or wants to swap ideas im all ear. This is hopefully the first of many posts from me, I would love to hear people's techniques or what works for them. Thanks again guys, Telegame |
