How's it going everyone? I hail from Bellingham, Washington, a small college town on the West Coast. I'm a student and work nights at a local college bar. I recently found Style's book, The Game, in my brother's collection of books. I was surprised at first, poked fun at him a bit. Being a hypocrite, I read it through and was absolutely captivated. I'm not really interested in being a PUA per say, but I did, and still do, want to be able to harness that ability to meet women and flip that attraction switch instead of being stuck as an AFC. History: I've never really thought of myself as an attractive guy. I'm 5'4", built very broadly, and covered in hair. I was fairly overweight, though I have a naturally muscular build, so I was able to hide my weight a bit with that. In the last couple of months, I've worked hard and have lost 30 lbs so far, and am currently trying to bring out my six pack. Before reading the Game, I had only made out with three girls and had sex with one girl, albeit I had a lot of sex with that one girl. I'm naturally pretty good at talking to people, great at poking fun at people and making them laugh, as long as I'm not nervous. I end up getting friend zoned a lot, because I'm good at talking and conversing, but I was never good at moving out of my comfort zone and making a move because I am always nervous talking to cute girls. The weight loss changed the way that I looked, and that by itself has been huge. I've had a few HB7s and 8s actually approach me at work, something that's definitely new to me. I've been hovering in this forum for a good week now, learning everything that I can. I've been working on my natural game. My humor is naturally cocky/funny, so that has been a good building point. I've been working a lot on my body language and getting comfortable with kino. Aside from that, I' just been reading everything I can on this site without having to pay. I'm actually excited to try out the Apocalypse opener on some drunken night, though I haven't needed it yet. A week ago, I ended up going home with a girl that I've had a crush on for a while. We made out and fooled around a bit, no sex though. I was OK with that because I was pretty hammered. Last night, I went home with a new HB 8 at our work's Christmas party, so needless to say I'm excited about having gotten into the game at this point. Well, I'm out for now. Maybe I'll post my first field report on last night's Christmas party a little bit later. |

Congrads on the weight loss. You, like so many other people, have noticed that woman DO take looks into consideration. So, that is a plus one for you. Even if you don't want to be a PUA, you still want to be successful with woman, otherwise, you are just another man in the crowd. You hit on one major point though. This is something I had to learn the hard way. In ANY situation, you must be in control of your actions. If you get hammered, you are not in control and that is a degrading feature to have in woman's eyes. With regards to the 'friend zone', suggestion: once you meet a woman and you have good rapport, you need to date ASAP otherwise the more you two talk without dating the more you fall into the 'friend zone'. If she says no to a date and that she views you as 'just friends', then immediately stop conversing with her. If she askes why you haven't talked to her that much lately, just tell her you have been busy or something that would hint that you are seeing other woman. She will get the hint and maybe want to actually go out on a real date with you outside of the 'friend zone'. But overall, good luck on your ventures... J-Dub |
