Hey what's up, I'm 16 and just about everything in my life is going swimmingly except for girls. Here's some backstory for anyone boring enough to read it:
I've never been good at attracting girls, and I used to suffer from severe lack of confidence passed down in part from my parents. From seventh grade till tenth I couldn't attract girls naturally and I stuck with a nerdy and non-aspiring social circle.
These days I'm in the advanced maths and science grade, I might be the best essay writer/debater in my year and I ran 4th in the annual cross country race. I can speak confidently in front of a group of people no problem at all and I'm working on being able to fit in with different social circles (recently was invited to a high value party, awesome!). The only thing I'm unhappy about is this lack of knowledge on girls.
I mean reading over some material I was making just about every mistake in the book with the few girls I liked, supplicating and giving out too much information about myself, and not expressing my feelings early enough.
So I read Double Your Dating and started acting better. I think I was overdoing it at first. Some people were getting turned off by the cocky and funny stuff.
Hopefully I'll improve from here. I just number closed what I consider the hottest girl in the year on facebook, randomly enough! Her words: "you have such a low opinion of me
" and she asked to be my study buddy, lol. I also was going to go sarging at Flinders station on Monday but my wing and I lost each other, just ended up newbie missioning it instead, lol.Reckon I should use less negs and more rapport building with high school girls? I dunno...
