hey guys. just a brief intro.

i am/was your typical 25 year old nerd. I have never even so much as held a girls hand in an intimate way. I never really became good with talking to women or socializing with them. within the past year i wanted to make a big change in my life, both physically and psychologically.

i was over 350lbs and just depressed with life. i got a gym membership and started to work out and eat healthy. I've since dropped 120 pounds and am continuing my journey. With the lost weight I have gained more confidence and I want to start meeting women.

I ran into a friend of mine that I hadn't seen in a while. He told me I should look reading the Game. I grabbed a copy and couldn't put it down. It made so much sense to me. After reading and watching VH1's The Pickup Artist s1 & 2, I really started to get the idea that this is something I want to do. Not just to pick up women and get laid but become better at socializing and interacting with both women and men.

My big things I want to get out of this is to overcome approach anxiety and be able to keep flowing conversations. I tend to lock up and not know what to say leading to dull and boring conversation.

just remember a few personal pointers of mine: 1. remember youre going to get rejected once in a while. when you walk away feeling down, remind yourself that nobody saw, and youre never going to see her again. it's not like she can talk shit and ruin your life. 2. also remember that girls are nothing but men with vaginas. they're people, not something to put on a pedestal to worship and fear. granted, they are beautiful and wonderful things, but NOTHING to fear. when talking, forget she's a girl and just smooth sail the rest of the way. never let her intimidate you. 3. you fail 100% of the shots you don't take. who knows, you could have had something, but you were too much of a wuss to talk to her. 4. using the last few pointers, develop a "aw fuck it" mentality. basically...if in doubt, throw all thoughts and logic aside and walk to her without thinking at all. then open. hope these help, they keep me straight set when i need to be. and welcome:)
