Whats happenin' everybody!? I'm new to the forum and somewhat new to the game. I'm only 100 pages into "The Game", but the terminology, guidelines, and suggestions really clicked for me. I work in retail and I'm out-going so I don't necessarily have issues with meeting women, but I feel uncomfortable approaching them at clubs. I'm going to keep on doing research into this art and hopefully develop quite nicely! I'm about to go out for a friends birthday outing D/T here in the ATX, and I'm going to attempt to apply some of these tactics that I've learned in the first 100 pages (Big smiles, 3 second eye contact rule, watching your wing and criticizing, IOI's, kino, being self conscious of posture and body language, some of the openers are stellar, and the linear FMAC model seems logical as hell! Appropriate negs, alienation of target, group theory, peacock theory, etc. It's going down!). LOL. Noob fa sho! Wish me luck! |

Follow Up: So, I went out. The group dynamic that I found myself in was extremely hard to break away from. The interesting thing is that I got a girls number (who I've known for a while; but, has friends in town that apparently want me to come out on Saturday night) and I met some other folks (2 girls and 1 dude) who fed me drinks (the dude actually gave me his number and said we should party with the girls tomorrow. I have the day off, so I figure pool side and drinks?!), but they got me too wasted to drive home. (  That is badass, but seriously. I live 30 mins. from D/T and had to make a call to the parents to help me get me and my car home!)Good Night, but very poor on the pick ups. Got turned down twice. First time I approached 3 girls (thinking about the angle and smile), I used a line that I read here before I left for D/T "Is it ladies night? Or can I join the party!?" They said, " Yeah its ladies night, and no you cant!" Ouch like a mo-fo. I think I'll pack up my dick and balls and quit after that one. The next group of ladies were dancing and I simply said, "Cool if I join!?" Granted, they were near some other guys dressed up pretty nice, and I shouldn't have said anything, but they replied, "No! I don't think so!" Two rejections in one night, and 2 phone numbers in one night. Even though I'm wasted right now. Thats still 50/50. I came out even. Now, if I only had a faithful wing that didn't bail on me at 1:30! I'm thinking that natural game is better than lines. But perhaps I failed in general... I'm pretty sure me not getting laid tonight proves that I'm a noob! LOL. Alright, I'm passing out! One Love, Crowd |
