Post subject:  DJ Fuji here

Hey guys, DJ Fuji here. Adam and I were recent speakers at The 21 Convention and he recommended I start posting here.

Most of you guys probably know me as the former chief instructor for Mehow Inc. I recently left in order to start my own company, The Tao of DJ Fuji.

My "style" of pickup is no style. That is, i don't believe in or teach a specific method. I believe in having strong fundamentals. Good body language. Engaging tonality. Interesting personality. Solid fashion. Great lifestyle. Dominance. Confidence. These are all things that transcend a method. And they are all things that, when absent, will seriously hurt your results, no matter what "system" you're using.

I don't believe in the existence of a single system which works universally well for everyone. If such a system did exist, it would have to be so vague and flexible, that it wouldn't be useful. So I teach the fundamentals and the ability to pick or develop your OWN method that suits YOUR personality and style.

My background and childhood were a mix of accomplishments and loneliness. Despite a desperate attempt to overcompensate for a lack of social skills, I still hadn't held a girl's hand at the age of nearly 20. I finally decided to do something about it. I found the community and I trained with some of the best guys in the industry. And after a crapload of hard work and dedication, i started to see results. I eventually went on to become the chief instructor for Mehow Inc where I taught boot camps and coached infield for over 2 years. And i'm now running my own company.

I see some great posts and guys on this board. I hope to be able to contribute a lot here. I try to make myself as available as possible for questions, so if you've got em, fire away.

DJ Fuji,

On behalf of the moderator staff I welcome you to the forum. It's always a pleasure to have some more experienced people join the board to help out others that might just be starting out.

You have definitely made a good name for yourself in the community. I firmly agree with what you say about not having a style. Like in any sport if you practice and focus on the fundamentals the rest comes together. If you for any reason neglect the fundamentals like body language, eye contact, tonalities, confidence, and an attractive lifestyle then...well you already know what happens.

If you need anything feel free to message me via the "PM" button.

Jon aka J.Smooth
