Thesis here. I'm new to this whole pick up thing. Am I confident regardless? Yes. Am I slightly nervous/afraid? Of course. This is a journey; a new experience. I'm going to be learning a lot from here on, I already know that, and I can't wait for that. I'm totally up for throwing out my old personality and old closet in exchange for something and someone new. I've already created a new email/MSN etc to remind myself that to do this, I'm going to have to change parts of who I am - even those I like. I won't be able to hang out with the same people before. I won't be able to act the way I have been until now. I have to change. Not tomorrow, not next week, I have to start changing right now. Obviously, I don't expect to become a master tomorrow. That won't be possible no matter how many books on pick-up I read. Even if it was possible, it wouldn't be much fun. I'm not here only to meet birds, lots and lots of birds, but also to make some good mates and create a lot of memories that I'll never forget. I expect an adventure, and I expect some of you to accompany me. If you're in the London area and want to just get out there and kill the field, contact me. I think we could get along. Oh my, I haven't told you anything about my logistics, have I? I apologize, it seems I got carried away. I'm 19 and currently live in zone 5 of North West London. I'll go anywhere my Oyster card will take me. People tell me I have 'Emo Hair', but I don't believe that at all. Yes, it's long and yes, I do straighten it, but it's not black - it can't be Emo, can it? I'm about 5' 7", perhaps 5' 8", and weigh 60 kgs. I don't have a girlfriend (surprise, surprise.) For now, I'm looking more toward the MLTR region than the monogamy aspect of things. I'm not looking for my life long love, because I don't believe in life long love. I only believe in the now, the moment - and that's exactly where I want to be. My favourite type of music is Rock; I'll also listen to techno and some pop. Please don't make me listen to hip-hop or rap. It's just not me. As far as actual pick-up experience is concerned, I'm terribly ashamed to say I have none. I apologize, but I am working on it. Otherwise I wouldn't be here. So far, I've read about Mystery Method, Mehow's Method and Cocky Funny. Out of those, my favourite is Cocky Funny. I've heard really good things about Juggler's Method though, and I plan to read his book soon. For now I don't want to choose one specific style, but I did want to let you know what I have read about. I'm currently reading "Magic Bullets" (just started so I can't tell you if it's good or not) and "The Routine Manual" (LOVE it!). I also thought Double Your Dating was a really good book, mainly for inner game, though. If you think that's some essential book that I absolutely must read, be sure to let me know. I'll do so whenever I have an opportunity. (Yes, I have read "The Game.") Hey, come to think of it, I haven't read anything about The Annihilation Method. Would anyone who's familiar with it care to let me know what it's all about? Anyway, I don't really know what else you could possible want to know about me.
