Hey guys, my name's Steven, I'm 21, and I'm from Texas. I've spent the past year studying abroad in Vienna, Austria, and I'll be here for until the beginning of July. I love the arts, like live music (from jazz to heavy metal) and photography; but I also love socializing. Meeting new people, talking to old friends, having a beer in the pub or out in a park, whatever.
The problem is, I have a really hard time expressing to women that I'm interested in them. I often end up as the "good friend" or "nice guy" because I don't know how to move from "friend" to "relationship material". The few times in recent history that I've attempted to move from "friend" to "relationship", the girl has said that she doesn't want to "hurt our friendship" or that she's "satisfied with our current relationship". I often feel like my attempts at flirting just come across as creepy, so I don't attempt them very often.
I recently read Style's book, and that led me to read a few articles on Herbal's blog and watch some videos from Mystery. I sent the book on to a friend of mine (Jezebel, she just joined too), and we plan to spend the next few weeks together learning how to game together.
My goal isn't to become a master PUA who brings home a new girl 3 or 4 times a week; instead, I just want to learn more about social interaction, and how to think & act around women. I want to get over my anxieties, fears, and confidence issues, and change the "best friend" vibe into a "great partner" vibe.
The today's plan didn't work so well, but tomorrow is a new Evening too
