| Post subject: | New to the Board and NYC. |
Hiya peeps, Just sending out an introduction to all. I'm 28yrs old, just moved to NYC 2 weeks ago from New Orleans and am living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I've been a student of Pickup on and off for a few years and dabbled in most of the schools of thought at some point in time. Really do like the newer schools of thought that have been developing over the past couple of years, especially those of afcAdam and Sinn which is how I found this board. I have taken off the last year and a half of my life though and pretty much devoted it to furthering my career which recently, due to the economy, became non-existent. Go figure, putting your eggs all in one basket. Probably didn't help either that during that time I became a pretty hardcore WoW addict So, I decided to head up to the land of opportunity/or lack thereof which is New York for a change in pace. I'm not 100% positive on how long I'm going to be staying, really depends on how quickly I find a job - p.s. if anyone has the hookup for bartending jobs or know's anyone looking for a corporate trainer send me a PM. - but, I'm just sort of interested in finding like minded people in the city to pal around with on occasion. Basically, looking to extend my social circle up here to get the most out of what this crazy city has to offer. I know a few people up here already, but catching people in this hectic place difficult at best. I won't lie either, my skills are somewhat rusty after the hiatus I put on being social, and this place can be a bit overwhelming for someone who's been out of the game for awhile and was used to a much smaller place. Hope to be visiting the board much more since it appears that I will be having a ton of free time for awhile until I can set up a solid network around here. Till then Cheers - Crit |

Pianos in the Lower East Side is my favourite place for night game. Union Square is an EXCELLENT place for day game. I lived in NYC for a year and my game grew a lot. Also NYC chicks are easy to extract because they dont come to the club in carpools like other cities. haha the MTA allows you to get more drunk! Who needs a DD when you have a month long unlimited metro card also if you want to improve your game and have free time, you can try to intern at like RSD NYC. |
