My name is Ace. I live in Naples, FL, am 23 years old. Just got out of a 2+ year relationship at the end of January of this year. Since November 4, 2008 I have lost 55 pounds. My first introuduction to pickup was in august 2007 when I saw Mystery's show on VH1. After that, in September of 2008 a co-worker who realized I was miserable in my current relationship suggested that I read Neil's book "The Game." It changed my life. I broke up with my girlfriend, but she cast me under her spell and talked me in to giving it one more go-around. Now that i've been single, I didnt have much of an urge to talk to new women or kiss-close. Women were talking to me but it was based off my appearance alone. I looked nice, dressed nice, and carried a decent conversation. I always reached a plateau though where I didnt know where to guide it, and that's usually where it would end. I wouldn't really care though, because it wasn't my goal to meet women. I have sense been getting to know a co-worker, and decided to re-read the Game to remember some tips and see if I can apply them to woo her, and other girls in my local community. I'm also reading "The Selfish Gene." I have a good career as a financial planner, and it's not my goal to meet a new woman every night, but I would like to acquire the skills to "lead the dance" with any woman I meet. I also want to have the courage to approach any woman at any time. I did lose a lot of weight, but I have confidence issues still. Deep down I still feel like the fat kid I used to be. Anyway that's me in a nut shell. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! ~Ace |

As long as you go around looking for courage outside of yourself, you'll never find it.What you will find, if you look hard enough in the mirror, is that the courage to take what you know is the "right" action has been inside you all along. And by using that courage--by, as the old self-help book suggests, feeling the fear and then doing it anyway-- you will eventually build the confidence you desire.
