I'm joining this forum for a couple of reasons, but all of them boil down to me wanting to learn more. I'm really interested in human sexuality and psychology, just a hobby, basically, so I'm investigating dating from a female perspective, too. I've also been dating a guy who used pick-up to meet me. Everything is going well, and he knows that I know, but I want to delve a little deeper into our first encounters. I'm also bisexual, and so are a lot of my friends. I've never had any trouble meeting quality men, but meeting women is so so different. I just want to know more about meeting people in general. That's about it, for now! |

I am actually fascinated. I have a very good female friend (an inlaw, actually I know very well from my 10 year marriage -Im newly separated) that I've always been in her "close Friend" zone (never mattered) but recently it has evolved into more of an intermittant casual/no strings sex thing on top of that -without losing the friendship. I'm paying close attention to what she tells me honestly about her feelings about her boyfriend and I tell her about my recent hookups (all nicely without me becoming attached to her or vice versa from her) and I can stand to learn much from my experience with her now. I was even with her when I hooked up with a woman at a bar a few weeks ago so we've even been thinking of ways that a woman and a man can be each other's wing's! Crazy as it sounds, but I already see "social validation and pre-approval at play there as a tactic. I think to understand a women's mind, if you have one as a resource where you can just simply ask her and expect a straight and honest answer wth no bullshit that's a valuable thing. I'm a newb here, but welcome to you! |

hehe, lemme put it this way, I have an image of this forum as a cigar club for boys, who sit around discussing the intricacies of female psyche, along with playing poker games and watching F-TV. To find a girl amongst us (for me) is rather unexpected. But like Impuls pointed out, I am sure there can be mutual learning from this. Oh, and hearts at the end of sentences...lol. You will definitely stand out, and not in a negative way! |
