Hi everyone, this is my first post and introduction to myself on the forum. I've read through a few of the topics already and everyone seems more than happy to help each other out with positive replies. There's only one other forum I've ever seen which shares a similar community attitude as this one, so I'm excited to become a part of this.

So let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 28 year old guy living down near Gatwick. Work keeps me very busy so when I do get the chance to go out and play I can have a tendency to have a little too much fun (drink!) and tend not to think too much about chasing women. I think this is largely down to my own mind getting in the way of me approaching them. I'll sometime spot a girl I like the look of, and instead of moving in with an opening line, I'll just carry on dancing near her, or talking to my mates. I'm a pretty good dancer as well (do street dancing as a hobby), so that can get to being the focus of my attention rather than girls. However, this is something I really need to change, so that's why I'm here!

The last girl I slept with was around 3 months ago, and that was a drunken blur, but I definitely know there was little to no technique used in the acquisition. There was also no follow up, as I found out the next morning that she was married (by her obvious reaction!).

Any pointers in the right direction as to where to start would be greatly appreciated. Thread recommendations etc will all be greatly received.

I'm going out tonight with a few friends and my goal is to try an opening line on a HB. That's it. Just one opening line. Not a huge mountain to climb, but nevertheless a little (hugely) daunting. I'm also going to try it without having 4 drinks down my neck first.

Wish me luck!! :)
