Post subject:  Quadriplegic in need of some desperate coaching

Hi,
My name is Simon. In 2002 I was injured playing rugby in Australia. Long story short, I have quadriplegia. I have always struggled with girls and having a physical disability has only impaired my ability more. I am a good looking lad and for the most part I am good with the ladies, but it never goes anywhere... I want to stop getting flaked out on and start having more sexual relations. I am 26 and have slept with two girls, I would like to inncrease that number and eventually find a girlfriend!
It is the only thing lacking in my life and I would be in in debt to anyone who would help me overcome my situation.

I have read The Game and some of David DeAngelo's material. I need someone to inspire me when I feel hopeless and help me figure out why I keep getting flaked on.

Hey bro welcome!

Life can suck man, but remember, everything does happen for a reason. A great thing to learn when ur first starting out is to realize faliure is pretty much inebidible (dont think i spelt that right lol), its gonna happen,

u can either let it sink in and hurt u, or u can reframe it as feedback, and learn from ur mistakes. Ask yourself, what went wrong? and how can i change it to achieve success?

The best way to get better, is just to do it. Approach when u feel the fear, thats the only way to get better. It will get better for ya, just keep at it.

Sarge on

Nino

Simon,
You have to see the film Murderball, in fact everyone should it's awesome!
The quadriplegic rugby players in this documentary get hot girls and I remember that they talked about how they do it.
I'm not allowed to post URL links yet because i'm too new, but just do a search for murderball movie to find the movie trailer.

Yeah, I have definitely seen it, it is a good movie! It was inspiring when I watched it, but inspiration only lasts so long...

agree with MINO... read all you can about gaming, but put it into practice!!!!

"knowledge is only potential power, the only time we create any real power is wen we take action" anthony robbins

If you can afford it take up a course, they are out there from... well £150 upto what ever your willing to pay.

But practice, fail, learn and repeat procaess, you wil eventually get there!!

It's only a failure if you do not learn from it, learn where you went wrong and its a lesson.

Oh and one more thing, dont get oneitis (the feeling that you must "seduce" a specific girl) oneitis is a killer for PUA, especially in the early stages....

so take it easy bro and happy gaming

It sounds like you had confidence issues prior to your incident, and now that youve recovered but have lasting implications from it your confidence in yourself is even more shot.

First things first, take a look in the mirror figuratively speaking. You need to discern what you want from women at this point. As of now it sounds like your out just to increase your lay count but still have realtionship thoughts in the back of your mind. Discern which one youd rather have right now and stick with it for a while.

Second, don't let the fact that your a quadriplegic interfere with your self-outlook. I can't speak from firsthand experience because ive never been through a setback like that but you need to come to terms with it if you haven't already and stop feeling as if it is a hinderence.

You said your a good looking guy. Keep thinking that and don't let the fact that your in a wheelchair affect how you feel about your looks. Sitting down or standing up, our faces look the same, our muscle definition is still at the same level and really nothing is changed. Your shorter sitting down. Thats the main difference. So what. You may not be able to participate in the same kind of pickup activities like dancing at a club like you used to or be able to stand out because of your height, but there ARE a lot of other ways to go about it

Now that i think about it, my Uncle's best friend from high school had an accident and one of the lasting impications was quadriplegia. He was able to meet women and eventually father a family so don't get down on yourself and say it can't happen or it won't happen or anything of that nature. Try to stay in a positive mindset if you can, i know its tough.

Just to bring up a different point, im curios as to what you do now for fun and leisure. I just recently had a revelation that im a bit of an adrenaline addict and became depressed for a month due to the fact that i had no adrenaline-based activities to look forward to on the weekends for a 4-5 month period, only school work and partying(alcohol is a depressant, completely opposite of adrenaline although still fun). You played rugby, i don't know how competitive you were or at what level you were playing at but it sounds like you could also be feeling down due to the fact that your not able to achieve that same kind of adrenaline rush like you were right before a big match. I know its been a while since the injury but that lack of adrenal stimulation can have huge side effects.

Fill us in a little bit on the extent of your quadriplegia, what your up to in terms of activities and what exactly your looking for and we'll be able to help you out a lot more then witout that info.

Cheer up mate
