Pretty new to the whole PUA scene, a friend of mine gave me a copy of The Game... and instantly I was hooked. I had been suffering from a severe case of one-itis, my particular case was as bad to me as Katrina was to the big easy... fucking crippling. But I have a feeling all is well once again. I was always pretty social growing up and did pretty well with HBs, until i met my particular strand of one-itis. The game was kind of like my vaccine, it reminded me that I wanted to get out there and scam on some squirrel, and for that I am forever thankful. Since I started reading, I have also started working on numerous bar tricks, and street magic, cold readings and anything else that I think could help me (wanting to start reading up on some NLP soon). Luckily one of my major strong points has always been my ability to make people laugh, and I am trying to use that to my advantage now more than ever. I believe that last Tuesday was when I started reading The Game, and by Friday I was already trying to rid myself of AA. Generally I would never go up and meet a new group of people, unless I am drunk. Then all bets are off, I could walk up and tell someone that my balls have legs and they want to do the riverdance on their chin. On Friday and Saturday night I went out partying and barhopping, in hopes I could start opening right away, in the face of my crippling shyness. After only 2 drinks Friday I went on a fucking rampage, opening at least 5 sets, the result was 2 n-closes and 1 Kasey (thought it might even turn to a f-close, but instead I was blocked by Aunt Flow). I felt like a new man. And Saturday was more successful IMHO. I opened roughly 5 sets again and came out with 3 numbers and a KC (really should write a field report on this night, everyone could get a chance to find out why I chose hammerhead lol). Tonight I opened a 2 set at a bar that could have doubled as a ghost town, one HB7.5 and a HB6.5 respectively. I used the Maury Povich opener that I read about lol... and to my surprise I worked. I stuck around just long enough to to use a few of my bar tricks and bust a few jokes and then left to "find my friend". While I didn't get even a number I didn't care. It is boosting my confidence like crazy and I am loving it. But I am going to listen to The Game on tape as I doze off into a much better sleep than I would have just a week ago |

I don't really have any good wing men, I have a couple buddies I go out with. One is a natural, but I don't get to go out with him that often. And another isn't too shabby, trying to get him some basic guidelines to go by... then the last one that goes out with me a lot is pretty much a pussy repellent |
