One day, when i had dinner with my friend at a fast food restaurant, i saw the counter staff, and my heart pound so fast and i can't help but keep looking at her. 2 days later when i go over to the same place again, i decided to ask for her number but i didn't dare to and hestitate for 5 to 10 mins. Finally i went to ask, then she hestitate for a while and then look around and finally told me that her boss said she is not suppose to give. Then i said ok, and after a few hours, by chance i went back to the place so i thought of giving her my numbers instead which i wrote on a piece of paper then give it to her. But till now, 1 day pass and nothing happen. I was not confident and i keep smiling when i talk to her because i don't know what other reactions should i have. Can someone tell me what is wrong here and what i should do? |

I'm new to this, so no expert, but it seems to me that you're seeming desperate and seeming waaaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaaay too interested. Going back a few hours later? That seems to be a bad idea. |

Well, i was passing by the place again a few hours later. that why i thought of giving my numbers or something. It not always we manage to meet someone that give us the heart pounding feeling. haha |

Ha ha . . . dude, you have balls! Let me tell you something. That girl wants to call you up so bad right now but she just doesn't have the balls. Well, she's a young chick. What do you expect? And you know what? That's a great freakin' line! I mean . . . so many guys are so damn wrapped up with these punch lines and D grade con jobs. What you just wrote must be the most genuine shit I've read here in a while.But still . . . there's nothing wrong with taking the time to clean it up, rehearse it a bit, and time yourself a bit better. You think those stand up comics(even the crazy ass improv guys) just pop up on stage and wing it? They write, write, revise, rewrite, practice, practice, practice. So don't just pounce on every chance you get to chat with her without any preparation Give yourself a little time to think, gather your thoughts, and strategize. I'm imagining you're pretty nervous and I think that energy can play to your advantage if you revise your statement above to something like: "Alright, look. When I first saw you, my heart was like pounding like 100 mph and before I even knew it, I was just like asking for your number . . . you know . . . before I even knew it was illegal for you to give out numbers. But what do you expect? My heart's like pounding here. You are like so grrrhh (like you're trying to say something obscene like, 'so fucking hot' but you're holding yourself back) Give me your number.(DO NOT SAY 'IF' This is a STATEMENT not a question) I promise I won't get a heart attack right now . . . " ...... No ha ha's. No trying to act cool. Just be as serious as you can be. Now if she gives you her number, you say, "Holy shit, you are so cool." Then you turn and get the hell outta there. If she's silent for a bit, wait for it . . . just smile, act/be nervous and wait for it. Make her nervous with your nervous energy and just keep looking at her. If she says no.(I doubt it) Say, "OK" and get the hell outta there. At this point the game is only beginning and if it comes to it, write up a post, we'll go to plan b from there. Had you typed up prior to first engagement, I think most would have recommended you go under the radar with typical openers and routines. You already pulled the pin on this grenade however. Let's throw it hard and take out some casualties . . . |

Oops. . . by the way, while you're basically demanding for her number, take your phone and hand it to her. You want to lower her barrier to entry. Make it easy for her. Another reason why this works is because accepting things that are handed to you is an ingrained social habit. It's rude to not take something that is offered to you. This is why the street corner "hand out" flyer marketing actually works. |

What do you mean? haha sorry, since i am new got a lot of term i don't really know. So should i go back again sometime or something?

I really like what you have wrote ^^. So i guess i should make a trip back. But i guess my heart will pound damn fast again till i feel like having a heart attack or something. haha |
