Im in the greater seattle area. Im 17 (hopefully i wont be crucified for being a minor). I got into "The Game" after reading "The Game" and doing a bit of browsing. I have been studying for around 9 months on and off, i wouldnt say i have practicing "pickup" but rather trying to hone my social skills. Im a fan of the mystery method, due to its easy to rember format but by no means devoted to, or even decided on a PUA to model after. I like cooking, reading, fishing. My goals in the short term are to lead a normal highschool life. I want is to go to homecoming and prom with a date. I would eventualy like to have a girlfreind. I have alot of work to do on my game, and am aware of a few fatal errors I have made and continue to make. I struggle with depression and really think the boost of self confidence I could get from being competent with females would improve my life in general. Also if anyone has advice on the diffrences in females of highschool age from those discribed in most PUA information, and how to adjust my game accordingly would be greatly apreciated. So far reading seduction information has been the single most beneficial thing to ever happen to my self confidence. Using what little I knew I was able to get my first kiss and have a "moment" with someone. That event lifted a massive phobia of being incompatible with other humans and a fear that I was doomed to die a virgin. |

First of all chill out get rid of your worries of self-esteem, dying a virgin, etc. Because those things are all problems you can solve. So first imagine yourself a year or 2 from now. You are confident, successful in school, and the girls like you, nice idea/feeling right? But see, it is possible to solve all these problems, you just have to fill in the gap between now, and what you just imagined. Only you can do that, whether that means, getting new stylish cloths, haircut, or talking to random people, it is something that reading all the books in the world cannot change. But now you answer you short term goals. High school is a bit different from the game in the book you read. None the less many things still apply. Like the need for kino, negging, dhv, etc. Now in high school this is difficult, because everyone belongs to social groups which limit you gaming ability, and the fact that you have already made a reputation for yourself, the quiet guy, the class clown, etc. You have to strip that reputation, take what you like , and throw away what you don't like. Just imagine, how would you feel if you met yourself in real life? (I for example, would surely beat the crap out of myself if I ever saw someone like me on the street). Anyway, now you need to start being more open, talk to people who you want to meet girls or guys, and talk to them like friends, then move on to making a even stronger friendship with that one girlfriend you really like, from there on it almost goes automatically. I mean once you can ask her out to the movies without any pressure, you set for a relationship. Hope that helps. P.S. by the time you get ask her to the movies, you can ask her to the Prom (if your quick!). |
