Post subject:	New in the game, going to conquer Amsterdam!
Hi everyone! I'm a student in my early 20s who lives in Amsterdam, Holland. I am not Dutch, and do neither master the Dutch language, so my communication is occurring in English. I consider myself as a good looking guy, and I have never had problems getting girls I already know (or if they know me through friends etc). The problem is that I am a disaster with picking up strangers. Normally I'm a confident person, but if I get turned down by a girl, my confidence breaks and I have a hard time approaching another one. As I said, I am "operating" in Amsterdam, and would like all tips I can get on good places to go etc (I normally go to big clubs, but don't know of these are the best places to pick-up girls with the loud music etc..??) It was the book The Game that inspired me to live the lifestyle of a pick-up artist, and I think I am able to achieve this with allot of training and tips from more experienced guys. With the language barrier, you might be better off with day game rather than sarging the clubs with the loud music and general chaos. The best way to get over (or at least reduce) that approach anxiety is to do a lot of approaches. Work on your voice tone and body language. Go for very short light approaches at first, with no other goal than saying hi to someone new, maybe exchange a few words, then move on. You: Hey, do you know how to get to the Van Gogh museum? HB: Go down that way and blah blah blah You: Cool, I've never been there, do they have a good collection? HB: Of course you idiot, now get away from me. Police, police! You: Thanks, I think I'll be going now. Fast. Just kidding. The fact is, most people are very friendly, especially if they feel like you're NOT trying to pick them up. Good luck. Thank you so much for my first tips on this I will try to do approaches, even though I must admit I find it really awkward to approach chicks in daytime..I'm used to having a couple of drinks in me before I have the courage to approach.
