Well, like probably a lot of guys here, I'm at the point in my life where I'm tired of my social retardation and its negative effects on my relations with the opposite sex. I've always been pretty successful at anything I applied myself at, but I've avoided the art of social grace and seduction pretty much all my life. I used to rationalize it to myself, saying that the game is disingenuous, that I don't want to compromise my integrity, or honor, but now I realize all that shit was just the product of hyperintelligent cowardice.
But now I'm 25, haven't had a girlfriend for more than three years, and I feel like I'm mad behind the power curve right now. And like a fat overweight tub of shit couch potato who realizes what he has to do to fix himself is to exercise (profusely)-- it's quite easier said than done. So on the one hand, my eyes are opened, I'm excited to learn the successful tactics, strategies and theory behind the game. But on the other hand, I'm dreading the prospect of the inevitable failures and rejections I'll encounter on my way to becoming more powerful.
