Hey all!

I'm where most guys start, and I'm not very good at picking up women and I find it hard to even make the first move... I have joined to learn from the best - you guys!

Here is a little about me:

I'm 23, and I live in the Humberside/Lincolnshire area of England. My job is working for a fish merchants, shitty job but it pays decent and I'm looking change that at some point soon!

5'9
Average build
Black hair
Light brown eyes
Clean shaven

I'm not very good at introductions to be fair...

With me I feel confidence is one, which I'm working on and getting better at! (Without getting too drunk either).

But my biggest challenge is actually knowing the approach when I get to talking to a woman.

I've been reading threads and watching user recommended videos last night and they looked useful for me :) just gotta put it into practice!

So say I actually get the attention of a girl, and I make the move to go over. What do I say then? Just a simple hey and just go from there, or say something to compliment? Or be direct in my intentions, if I feel confident enough?

That would depend on what I go with. If I just say hey, I'd have to say something of interest, which would probably involve complimenting.

If I lead with a compliment, that's the issue. Where would I go from there?

If I'm direct, how long have I got to keep her interested? Etc.
