Post subject:  New to the Game. Ready to start!

I wrote an intro a couple months ago on another forum so here it is with an update.

I grew up in a very conservative home. Because of this, I was raised with the mind set of "waiting for one." However I do believe there is a "one" out there, but how am I supposed to meet her if I'm not being active in my search. The passed three years of my life have been consumed by my job. For 9 months out of the year I live away from home and travel non stop around the state. Working 90+ hours a week does not allow for much social interaction. The other three months of the year are consumed with further education and training in my job field. Three years with this schedule ruined all aspects of my social life. I recently received a job opportunity that gives me the chance to finally live at home and be able to have a social life once more. Four months ago the book The Game by Neil Strauss was recommended me by a coworker. This book sparked my curiosity to this community. I became obsessed with the fact that I could posses the ability to obtain any woman I wanted. I searched for and studied every piece of material I could find. Mystery Method, Double Your Dating, Magic Bullets. I have stacks of books i have read and yet to read. I have also watched and listened to the Mystery Method Video Archive, Stylelife-Master the Game, and David DeAngelo's Advanced Dating Techniques. Only problem is, I have not been able to go out and use my new found knowledge until now.

My ultimate goal is not just to be able to pick up any girl i want, but to be the absolute best I can at it. I want to be the spark of jealousy. I also want to show others like me how to as well.

Since November I have been sarging 2-4 times a week. Practicing both day and night game. The hardest thing for me is staying out of my head. I went so long just reading and watching when I should have been going out. Now that I have time on my hands it has been getting easier and my game is being fine tuned.

How have these 2-4 a week sarges been going?
Don't list phone numbers.

Makeouts are fine for early attempts.
Sex is of course the true standard of success.
Day twos are also a good test.

My nights have been going well. I have many number closes and a few kiss closes. However they have been pretty inconsistent. My day twos always fall through. I think that is because of bad phone game. But I am learning from my mistakes and have improved tremendously. The biggest sticking point I know of is kino escalation. I have really been practicing that lately.

Are you following the methods laid out in Strauss, Mystery and DeAngelo's material?

That is the exact result I would expect from doing that :)
It rarely gets much better for most guys using those.

Have a read.

Routine stacks are unnatural and "cocky, funny" usually just translates into "douchebag" for most girls.

You are correct in going out more. But you need to work on making conversations go naturally. Just learn to be fun and normal. Fuck value. Value doesn't get you laid. Girls sleep with guys that are sexual and fun. If she enjoys herself with you and she's attracted to you, she'll sleep with you. If either of these things are lacking, no amount of PUA "value" is going to salvage it.

That is a great article thanks for sharing that! I read the books just to get a basic idea on what is actually going on. I watched a video by Gambler on natural game and it made a lot more sense. However, it did help during my first few times out to know some canned material. Practice will make perfect.

There's no harm in having a little bit of memorized stuff. I absolutely memorize a few good topics, just because of how frequently they go well for me. But the routine stack is a bad idea and trying to tightly fit interactions into models and such is not very practical.

It sounds like you have the right idea. I owe my start to Mystery as well. I never tried to do most of it, so things went smoother for me. I never peacocked or did DHV stories, or used his A,C,S method either. But he did open my eyes and MM forever holds a special place inside my heart. But I never suggest it to anyone.

Avoid RSD in the future. I've yet to buy any of Gambler's stuff. But I have heard generally good things about him. As well as Mark Manson's Models. It's cheap. Like $20.
