Hi My name is Marc. I’m new to the PUA community. I actually don’t have a problem getting laid, but I seem to have a problem getting into long term relationships. I just read the FAQ’s and realized that I have been using a lot of unnatural techniques. This probably explains why I have had so much difficulty with LTR’s. I used to be in sales and started Listening to Tony Robbins Personal Power. He teaches a lot of NLP techniques and I quickly figured out that those techniques help you approach women. I also happen to be a nice guy. Once I get into a relationship I become super nice to the point where I often don’t assert my own feelings. This is another problem. I’ve even read No More Mr. Nice Guy but I keep falling into the same patterns. I have decided that I am not ready for a long term relationship as of right now. If I tried I would probably end up making the same mistakes and I would rather work on my self, focus on my career, and grow than get into a relationship right now. In the meantime I would like to get to a point where I can eventually have a long term relationship. I would like to learn some natural techniques rather than rely on NLP and I still want to get laid every now and then. How do I get started? |

I will just make a quick comment on how I don't think its necessary a bad thing to be a nice guy in a LTR. You definitely can over do it and accommodate to much but if you realize that you do this just stop, be your own person and own man. Don't over think in a relationship because if she is in a LTR with you then she must like something about you. I really don't think you have to game or sell yourself to you girlfriend. I too am a nice guy especially when in a LTR which I have had many of. |
