Hey I'm Alkaline, nice to meet you.
I'm a college student in the U.S.
I borrowed a copy of The Layguide by Tony Clink from a friend but ended up just skimming the first couple chapters and going into a 6 mo relationship that provided all the sex I could ever ask for-excluding menstruation periods :? . I later, while still in the relationship but unsatisfied and interested in pick up for entertainment decided to buy the book for myself. I loaned it to my roommate to hide it from my girl and didn't read it again till almost a month ago when I finally broke up with the girl for a multitude of reasons-which I'd read on the beach after surfing while in Hawaii (I covered the book with a surrogate cover in case I wanted to talk to girls on the beach). I really enjoyed the Layguide and 75% of the way through it I picked up 'The Game' and read it as a companion. Before picking up 'The Game' I thought the Layguide was the only popularized book on pick up-I'd never read anything like it before. A lot of its advice was lacking credibility-due to its anonymity, even Tony Clink is surely a fake name-and that credibility was provided by The Game. I even thought Ross Jeffries was a registered Psychiatrist or Psychologist-a large misconception. All of the PUA's offer different advice, meaning there's no clear-cut method. Although they all share universal themes-certainly a quantifiable formula exists underneath all these theories. I believe that as everyone is different their pick up techniques are as well. Anyway, I don't want to start a rant about this so I'll end this before I do. I'd love to get in contact with as many of you as possible, feel free to contact me about anything.

Yeah for the most part, not as fast as I've wanted or expected but you get what you put in right? I've been going out with some local guys once a week and joking around with women we encounter. They're really big on RSD and Tyler Durden so they're strategy is to draw attention to themselves. We went to the club last week and trolled the club, doing ballerina pirouettes and stupid stuff like that. I've been talking to more women, definitely more than I would without this stuff. But one thing I've noticed about myself is I don't feel comfortable cold approaching solo, I have to always have a wing or friend somewhere nearby. I can't muster up enough energy to do a cold approach without feeding off someone Else's energy. It's like I need a jumpstart each time by watching them approach. But once I shift out of AFC mode I can be pretty interesting.

That happens to me also, but not so much anymore.

There is a fix for that. Go in with the mind set 'I don't give a shit about anybody". Remember that you are playing a game and act like this is not real life.

That's actually the point I'm coming to realize more and more. Especially when I'm warming up, I don't care at all. The other day my wing and I approached 2 middle eastern girls sitting in the corner of a bar and interrogated them whether or not they were terrorists due to their isolated location of the bar. We lied and made up a bunch of false characteristics about ourselves. I even told them about how I was a sociology major and started going on a rant about Mystery's Tribal Leader theory, explaining my fake degree, sitting on a stool raised up above everyone. I guess they were so impressed that later they took it upon themselves to seek us out in the bar and harass us.
