Hi guys,

I'm 21, 6"2, just discovered game a few weeks ago, and I'm hooked!

I was a nerd and social outcast all my life, would never have considered myself to be a 'natural'. At age 13 I decided to make a change. The first thing I learned to do was make friends, which took me a few years to get the hang of. At 17, I started going to parties and learned how to pick up girls (but only drunk ones :p) I got a haircut, bought new clothes, got over my fear of approach, acted more confident, hung out with cooler and more influential people.

I took steps to improve myself in other areas as well. I went from skinny to muscular, learned martial arts, learned how to dance, bought a motorbike, learned about everything I could get information on, politics, religion, science, psychology, body language and more. I got a job in sales (which improved my game tremendously) and was quickly on my way to being promoted. I also got a part-time job as a model.

It got to the point where I started analyzing my own techniques to try and identify exactly what I was doing right. I started seeking out challenges. Older girls, smarter girls, hotter girls. Then the strangest thing happened... guys starting asking me for advice! Every weekend I would go out with one or two guys and point out their mistakes, give them advice. It felt even better to be helping other guys pick up than it did to pick up myself. It's a great feeling.

5 years later, I've done pretty well with women. I've had two HB10 girlfriends, I've kissed hundreds of girls, slept with about 40, and developed a reputation in my city for it (which has done nothing but help me pick up more girls :P) But I have my weaknesses. I'm not consistent with my results, my number closes usually don't lead anywhere, my kiss closes don't escalate nearly as often as they should, my day game needs major work, and more.

And then a few weeks ago, I typed 'gangnam style' into youtube and up popped a video called 'how to pick up women like gangnam style'. The video was posted on a fitness channel called sixpackshortcuts that I was subscribed to, so I was curious. Lo and behold, there was Adam Lyons, apparently the best pick up artist in the world.

A few google and youtube searches later and I had discovered the world of pickup. It felt like I had found my home. A bunch of guys just like me, constantly trying to improve themselves and learn how to pickup girls. I watched videos and lectures for hours, and discovered that a lot of the techniques I was so proud of myself for coming up with had already been invented and perfected by guys who made me look like the amateur I was. Or should I say, like the AFC I still am.

So here I am. I can't wait to learn from you guys, and hopefully share some of the lessons I've learned. Maybe one day I'll be good enough to call myself a PUA :)

Yes, one day you'll be able to call yourself a PUA brother ;).

But for now, welcome on the forums and thank you for this awesome description of who you are and what you do in life!

The game is an amazing book off course, I read it a few months ago and I love how they explain everything in it. Unfortunately, i'm in a relationship so I can't go too far (i'm not a PUA cheater) but I still get to hookup with many girls easily. I love to practice my skills even if I have a girlfriend...

It's fun to feel desired isn't it? ;)
