Hey Guys,

So I'm 22, from Southern New Jersey and relatively new to the game. I was never terrible with girls before but ever since I broke up with my ex my inner (and outer) game has been all fucked up. I finally got fed up with it and decided to change. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on (the game, double your dating, some general pysch books) and trying to practice when I can. I'm taking classes and trying to get into grad school so I dont have a crazy amount of time but I'm not too worreid about that because I really have no desire to become a PUA, I just want to become proficient enough to meet the kind of women I actually like. The worst part of my game by far is my opening. My game right now isn't awful I mean I can talk to girls I just have a good bit of Approach Anxiety and struggle with opening. I'm hoping this forum will be a good place for me to find a little bit of help and even offer up some advice for others when I can... Anyway good luck guys!!!

What's up bro? I'm 21 and from North Jersey. I'm on the same boat as you; broke up with my girl that I've been with for 8 yrs, so my game is off, but not terrible. Check out Gambler's (Richard la Ruina) stuff. His techniques are more " under the radar" and less forceful in comparison to some of the other MPUAs.
He's got a book called " The Natural: How to Effortlessly Attract" that explains approach in detail. I've applied some of his stuff and am getting some results.

Let me know if that helps.

Hey man,

Good to hear I'm not the only one trying to revitalize their game. Anyway thanks for the heads up I'll have to check it out. I have to agree about the low key stuff, I find that it works best for me too. I dont know if its because Im naturally a low key kind of guy or just because I am new but that stuff does seems to work. If you haven't read it, double your dating, isn't bad. Its low key, and focuses on changing up the framing during your conversations. I used a lot of it during my last trip down to UVA and I had this girl totally hooked. It kind of blew up in my face when I walked home, un-laid, at 5am, lol... but honestly I think that had more to do some of the mistakes I made earlier in the night. Anyway good luck with everything man.

Yeah I think I'm more of a low key guy, but I haven't tried the other stuff to know for sure it's inapplicable to my type of game. I'm sure you feel the same. Once I get in the flow of it, I'll probably through out the bigger moves while still maintaining low key for the most part.
I have " Double your dating," and haven't gotten around to reading it, but I'm definitely gonna get into it soon since it worked for you. Good stuff with that girl by the way dude, sucks you didn't get to go all the way though lol. In time and practice for us my friend. If you ever head up north and wanna sarge one night, just PM me.

P.S. The book I mentioned also talks about conversational frame.

If you are short on time, yet dedicated, consider this. Practice your game throughout the day with all women. The 5's, the teachers, the Subway chicks, women in an elevators, older ladies.

The drill is simple. Hit them up with something to make them really smile. Then knock it back and forth. Watch their body language to verify progress. you aren't collecting phone number here, just learning to alter moods in a real way.

It's a fun game and will keep you sharp.

Cheers.
