Hi everyone, I am 22 and going to veterinary school. I don't see many girls around here, its pretty guy intensive, I am not sure how well I will be recieved  I've been lurking for awhile, and eventually couldn't remain quiet anymore.  There doesn't seem to be much PUA info for girls, although it feels like most of the time If I want to get with a guy all I have to do is say so.  Anyway, I try to help by interjecting with some female perspective. Cya around.

Welcome! I'm glad we have some females on this forums aswell to share different points of views. I recently ended a sexual relationship with a girl, but we stayed close friends and we sometimes help eachother in the pick up area. Being able to hear a true female opinion for this kind of stuff is invaluable!

If you can avoid excessive texting, then do so because Alphas always show their confidence by calling, not texting. But it seems nowadays that texting is the standard way to go when it comes to arranging Day 2 because there is less pressure on the girl and you also avoid the embarrassment of her saying "Sorry, who is this?" because she was drunk when you number-closed.Texting should always be flirtatious, playful and always try to include a question or the conversation will fade and die. Don't reply immediately when she texts or you will look like you are a desperate loner with no plans. 10 minutes is a decent guideline. I have a buddy who I call "The number whore" because he has a phone full of numbers (it's not hard when you're 6'ft 9"in and handsome) but he often fails at the texting stage. Remember the underlying purpose of texting is to meet up in person. No matter how much you are flirting by text, you have to casually imply meeting up or you will never escalate. Rather than straight up asking her out for a date, arrange to go a bar with your buddies (ideally with female friends to show pre-selection) and casually mention to your HB where you'll be hanging out via text. This will be a good litmus test to see how interested she is. This is a win-win situation: if she shows up you know she's into you and it's on! If she flakes you still have a good night with your friends (plus she may feel guilty for not showing and look for ways to make it up to you ). Don't make a big deal of it if she flakes, she may actually be genuinely busy, I would only be concerned if she repeatedly flakes or keeps saying she'll show up only to cancel last minute.AFC Hunter Foxe |
