| Post subject: | Brief Insight in the Life of Thessius |
My dreams are analagous to the achievements of Thessius, the greek mythological character. I beilieve most of us can relate to such heros; because it is they that have been given the basic, general issues that we in modern society are faced with. In respect to the story of Thessius, I believe that all of you here, I, of course, even, are struggling to defeat a great beast -one that we must grab by the horn and physically and forcefully submit. -the game. Honestly, I do not believe myself to be a bad looking man, but it is my insecurities and "mental barries" that do me much harm. They prevent me from obtaining the goals throughout many aspects of life that I would like to attain. In respect to this forum -it is women that are my minotaur. Pretty much, the game itself. However, again, many things throughout my life are unattainable simply because I believe them to be. Anyways, to go into more detail about myself -I aspire to become a chiropractor/nutritionist, therefore I really practice what I preach in terms of health (nutritional and physical), I am of Mexican heritage, although I have been adopted and raised by Middle Easterners. Furthermore, I live in Texas -born and raised. I'm pretty open minded to other people's opinions and love communicating with people and sharing ideas; I find it to be very important. In my spare time, I enjoy building my knowledge of nutrition and health, and read, watch movies, or even just go out and meet new people; spark conversation so that I may become more extroverted and not shy. Fear in such things benefits a man nothing, I believe. |

I think it's really useful and interesting to make metaphors like this. But you might want to reconsider casting women as the minotaur you want to slay. What you really want is to connect with women and have them enjoy being with you. That's a lot different than thinking of them as a monster you want to kill! Can you think of a different metaphor for them maybe? |

Yeah man, you're actually right. It does paint a negative image of women. I agree, they're definitely not monsters here. I think the real monster and the barriers in my head! Thanks for reading though. |

| Post subject: | Intro 2: Things I Forgot to Mention |
Alright, so I live in Houston Texas. For those of you who MAY think that texas is nothing nut cattle, horses, farms, and cowboys, ...it is to a small extent, but I proudly drive a nice little Honda Civic to school, not a mustang (the horse) haha. In addition, I'm 22 years old and I got into the game this past summer. It started with me getting back into the single life and not knowing what the hell I was doing. So, one of my best friends recommened me The Game, by Neil Strauss. It definitely helped me get better with women far more than how I was with them before. But only to a certain degree, then I'm just lost in confusion -but I'll get into that in another post. So, with me only getting into the game this past summer, I have only been in it for about 3 months now. From everything that I've learned in these still beginning stages of my game, I would say my favorite pickup methods are: negging the target -physically showing a lack of interest; not really giving too much attention, and of course the verbal negging. Also, I like to use the Cube trick a lot. Sometimes, just to get better at doing it and also become less introverted, I'll choose a random person and do it to them. I've yet, however, to be good enough to "ceal the deal" when isolating a lady and using this trick. I also like going kino when I feel it's appropriate so that I can establish a good rapport after Ive negged enough and I feel like she might be getting a little more relaxed and into me. Another method I like to use is group theory. These are pretty much the only tricks I have up my sleeve right now. They've helped me get a kiss from a few pretty ladies since I've began using them. But again, I always seem to hit a plateau and cannot escalate it any futher. Hobbies/passions, as explained in my original intro, are overall human health. I have a strong interest in nutrition and natural ways of healing the body. I also enjoy learning new exercises and helping people get into physical shape. Another hobby of mine is reading -ex: history, greek mythology, psychology and body language. Self improvement books. I believe there's always room to grow and learn; that the true master sees himself as nothingmore than an eternal student. Last but not least, my goals for the game are to become much more confident in myself, so that I can enjoy virtually every moment within the day. My hope is that this confidence, with a mix of methods that I've learned from the game, will help me attract more women and to also succeed in other things. Yes the barriers in your head are the monsters at times. Though even there sometimes those barriers, you find, were put there for a reason and mean well. They are just not serving you well currently. Think about naturals. They don't seem to often go into this with an attitude of being at war. It's just the opposite. It's about comfort and confidence. Try to work with everything inside you and get it cooperating. That's my advice.
