Hey, i'm new at this and I could really use some help. My approach SUCKS! If my buddy comes over with girls and i've already had a drink or two I can normally keep a conversation going and keep 'em smiling the whole time. But the thing is in public to approach a girl I find attractive seems impossible and with my second year of college being 3 weeks away this is an issue. My first year at college was more or less a failure but i'm hoping being able to get into bars this year will help. Any major guidelines to aproaches and any major DON'Ts of being a PUA would be very useful to me and i'd very apriciative. I'm not really looking for any specific lines as I perfer to be more natural then structured but thanks for any advice in advance. -Don |

The most helpful piece of girl/social advice I've heard came from a guy I know who I guess is a natural pick up artist. He said: "The most important thing is just to keep talking. It doesn't matter about what. I'll talk about the bagel I had for breakfast." The important thing is just to approach people and keep talking about whatever comes to your mind. If the approach is successful, hopefully the conversation will flow naturally. Now I don't know what kind of college you are going to. Maybe it's huge and you can approach girls every day and not bump into the same people twice, but chances are you'll end up seeing certain people around a lot, and you don't want to be known as "that guy". So there is a definite emphasis of using social circles when in college. Just try to get to know and get friendly with guys that have a lot of connections. Or join a group or club or something. It's a lot better than trying to approach random girls. If you have a class that's smaller and involves working in groups, try to get into a group with some girls. It's a good way to make friends. But the important thing is just to talk to people and not think too much about it. |
