Post subject:  Yo, confidence issues

Hello all, I've posted a couple times asking for help already but thought I would introduce myself.

I'm 22 and currently a 2nd year student.

Obviously from the thread title I have confidence issues and worry a lot. The worrying I get from my mother I think as she is a major worry woman.

The reason I have confidence issues is that when I was in school still I left college I was very overweight at 19 stone. After I left college and got a shitty job I realised my life was going nowhere, no girlfriends (had had sex) and such. So I decided to buck my ideas up and lose the weight. I'm now at a healthy 12 stone for my height and attend the gym every so often to try to keep a slimish figure (i'm not a fan of muscles but a hard stomach and chest sure does help.)

Anyway even after losing all of this weight, getting myself to a gym I still have major confidence issues. I find it hard to talk to anyone (especially girls) one to one unless they are particular girls. The strange thing is after I've had sex with them I can talk the fucking roof down/make them laugh easily (in person.)

I've recently started the newbie quest to get my confidence up by looking anyone in the eye when I got for walks and saying hello. Also at work instread of avoiding the people I don't socialise with I will give a casual hello, ask how their day was and then try to take keywords they say in their sentences to continue the conversation.

The other problem I have is worrying. My main screwup with new girls is worrying why they aren't replying. When I was younger I assumed you should give full attention but now I know different. I ballsed up big style with an absolute stunner from work by over-texting but I still worry.

What tactics/thread do you guys suggest to improve my confidence/inner game and to stop my goddamn worrying.

Well, how tall are you? If you can state your height, maybe someone can help you out.
