Post subject:  Hey Everyone!

So I literally just stumbled across The Game a week ago and finished it last night. To make a long story short...I googled PUA forum ( Google IS our best friend :)) and here I am.

My name is Josh, and I am a 20 year old college student that was born and raised in Northern California and go to school in Los Angeles. I write, rap, and game as hobbies, and have a growing youtube channel that I run on the side.

Anyways, joined this forum to gain the knowledge that will help me meet and socialize with other women. Been on and off with a girl for almost 5 years now and am now looking to move on to better things. Only problem is that I have spent the last five years so invested in this girl that I have no idea where to start...hopefully here was the right choice.

Definitely down to network and meet some aspiring PUAs just like me ..so let me know if you're in the area or just wanna hang out!

Hy, good to have you here.

Just dont take the whole game stuff to seriously. Many people make it the center of there lives which leads to frustration. Also there are no rules with people. You can go direct or indirect if the girl likes you she will bite, if she doesent you could use the best oppener in the world and it still wont work. One gilr will like you just for your looks, other care more about funny, social or sexual. What im trying to say is: dont let yourself spend more time on this forum and reading ebooks than you spend on girls in real life. Use the stuff here just so you could get an adwice when you need one, not so you would try to play the "game" perfectly. In reality there is no such thing as game...

Yeah, I definitely see the potential danger of losing yourself too far into just the books and the forums. For now, I guess I'm finding the Inner game stuff really helpful and just focusing on self improvement.

I'm still having a hard time figuring out just how much you have to make this "alternate identity" because thats what most of these techniques sound like to me. They help transform the shy guy into a more daring person but I feel like it might eventually mask over their originality.

Anyways appreciate the response! :)
