Hi,
I'm 39 years of age, a few years ago (31 onwards) after reading The Game and getting into it, I fell into a 6 year relationship. That's now ended, and I find I have no inner game. Approaching girls is no problem (for the most part, I get AA still, but I can work on that).
I approached a girl (HB8.5) I know through my limited social circle and she gave a few IOIs (I've lost a lot of weight over the last 6 months, her first words to me were "Wow - you're looking good!"). She mentioned that she could lose a few pounds (there'd be nothing left of her if she did!), so I suggested that we go and play squash together.
She agreed. We're playing this Wednesday (deliberately made it a week day as per instructions elsewhere).
I have no idea how to escalate this...please help!
Also, I tried the "We're going on a road trip" post on a POF member (HB7), and she's come back with a sh*t test. She asked if everything in my profile was true, and I replied by saying, "I can't give away all my secrets...what sort of boy do you think I am?
" She's replied with "Selfish, shallow...and a dickhead?"I could have done without the knock at the moment - I'm feeling pretty rare after a 6 year break-up.
Not entirely sure how to respond.
The first girl is 24, the second 19 (which is a little too young to be fair, we'd have no common ground at all!)
Also, a girl (HB8 aged 28) I know phoned out of the blue (after about 2 years) to see if I could fix her laptop - she came round, we joked, were a bit touchy-feely and then she came around on the following Saturday with her daughter for a few hours...simply for the sake of it I think. The laptop wasn't mentioned. We weren't quite as jelling as we were, which I attributed to her daughter being there, she came around again in the week and we simply talked.
I think I have a sticking point about escalating.
