I recently had one of those prophetic hangovers in which you question your purpose in life. I realised that my life was in stasis and had been for some time. I made a vow to change myself, cos what else are we here for if not to grow? A major weakness in my life and my person has been my love and sex life, so I decided to get back into pickup. I first found the community back in 2002 when I downloaded David Deangelo's ebook. Over the years since then I have read a fair bit, here and there, in phases. I never really made a solid commitment to living out the philosophy of game, but I'm sure it helped to mould me in the right direction somewhat. I am now making this commitment. For the last two weeks I have immersed myself in material and am starting to perceive the direcion I want to go with this. My goal is to have changed so much within a year, that I can teach others how to do the same. The direction I want to go is a more natural style based on inner game. I want to BECOME somebody who is more attractive and confident; develop an attractive lifestyle; increase my social skills and social circle. Results will follow I am not interested in nightclub game because I hate nightclubs and the people who go to them (in general). I am less interested in routine based game, and trying to pull lots of girls. More inerested in personal development and changing my perspective on myself and my value to women. The gurus I have found most helpful so far are: Tyler Durden David Wygant David Deangelo Though I completely enjoy blowing my mind with: Sinn Sasha Daygame Mehow I believe that my attitude and beliefs about myself and the world will determine my course in life and with girls. I'm already noticing a positive change and already some positive reactions. So for me it's not just about getting girls. In a year's time I hope to be teaching my AFC friends how they too can change their lives and attract women. That's all, Thanks Birdo |

It's definitely about building your own identity and confidence and social skills. Take one step at a time, don't get too hyped up and burn out and just make steady progress. Also make sure that any wounds from your past that might hold you back get addressed, rather than ignored. |

Great advice, wounds from the past are almost like shadows, they are hidden away, however those feelings will come out in your personality, so you have to face them, as uncomfortable as they seem. Then you won't be embarrassed by your true self, which gives you room to flourish.
