Sup Dudes, I’m 28 and began this journey in earnest about 10 months ago after a terrible break-up with someone I was living with at the time. I picked up Lance Mason’s “Charismatic Conversations” and have recently got a handle on approach anxiety. While the product is geared toward clubs and bars I’m currently adapting the product for daytime activities. But I’ll probably drop the project and simply take a weekend daytime workshop with some local outfits here in the area. I’m also half way through the “Mystery Method” which I’m finding to be great. At present my only hobby consists of Boxing as it requires tons of time just for training, I just graduated into contact sparring after about 7 months of beginner training/conditioning. After that I’m probably going right into kickboxing with some gun training thrown in. I’m by no means a gun enthusiast but I’ve always wanted to learn how to properly handle one and am considering a purchase for the house. I’ll also probably start taking Salsa lessons. My other hobby of course is focused on having better interactions not just with women but with everyone in general. After studying and practicing pickup my interactions have not only gotten better with women, but with friends, family and even professionally. Combining the practice with my boxing training recently led to a much better, higher paying job, simply because I’ve become more of a leader and networker. My goals are to be good enough to always have 1 or more women in my life for the next few years, on my own terms. Concurrent goals of course include becoming a better and more fulfilled person. I don’t have a back story except to say that I used to be really shy. Getting over approach anxiety was probably the biggest hump and in some instances felt insurmountable. But it wasn’t. I decided to join the forum to mostly bounce ideas off of people, hopefully contribute, and learn from others. I also decided to join because meeting some wings would be awesome. I imagined having someone push me to be better can only build my skills faster. Initially I thought some of my current friends would be down to join me but they’re mostly skeptical or are simply not ready for the information. If there are any dudes (or dudettes?) that want to want to wing, message me and we’ll get together to see if we can work anything out. Dnova |
