Post subject:  Hello from Midwestern USA
I am a 21 year old guy from the Midwestern USA. I've never had an official girlfriend but I've had a serious long distance online relationship in the past. I really felt I had a chance with her but out of the blue she cut off contact so I went out and tried to drink myself to death and dropped out of college. Now I am at a dead end job in retail trying to rebuild my life. I feel a lot would help improve my life and get me a better job etc. but I think one thing that will add to my self confidence greatly is to find a girlfriend. I'm joining this website because I want to learn.

21 is still young dude you've got forever to build a new awesome life for yourself 8)

Main thing is to focus on being happy about you, and your life, not just because you do or dont have a girl. Placing your happiness on something outside of yourself and your zone of control means that you are giving up your own control and responsibility for how you feel.

Set yourself a ton of goals and start working on them immediately, even if you only take small steps.

Is there anything specific you are looking to learn?
