| Post subject: | New from England |
As the subject states I am from England recently turned 19. I still have got my virginity in tact so a friend recommended me 'The Game' started reading it a couple of days back, and enjoying it but I wanted to see if I could get some advice from you guys on here. Basically I find it strangely difficult to interact with women, although when under the influence of alcohol I do have more courage but I can't seem to close. Any tips on how to overcome my shyness except from constantly being under the influence? Also any thread suggestions to read? |

Shyness is easy to cure. Talk to literally every body. The person next to you on the plane, in the lift, the ugly fat bitch at the Tesco check out, ask someone to recommend a CD in whilst your in HMV. Literally fucking everyone. Not the same ol'"hi how are you" though. Observe something and say it. When you start of with a stranger, these people don't matter so you can say anything and who cares what they think? You're just another customer/person. Not only will this give a buzz and put you in a social mood for the day it will very quickly improve your confidence and rid of shyness. If you can converse really easily with an old man then you can talk to anyone. Trust me. And what you'll eventually notice as your confidence builds is that if you say something stupid or really weird..so does everyone! Even the hot popular people at school you think are so socially skilled...certainly not. And then you'll eventually notice that making a fool of yourself on accident is actually quite a likeable trait in a person and makes you a character. Ex-shy person. |

Cheers for the advice Titanman. I will certainly give it a go, I suppose for me it's always been about not making a fool of myself or getting rejected. But like you say I've got to start thinking it does not matter what others think at first. |
