Welcome to the forum. what helped me get started was learning the basics of the mystery method (I learned some openers/negs/ routines/blah blah)and the various post on this web site about inner game. See the sticky by Rye Lee about the worthwhile threads in this category. After you think you have a basic idea of what your doing, go and start approaching. Figure out what works and what doesn't for YOU. Oh yeah and don't read too much in the beginning without approaching, this screwed me up big time. Good Luck
