Hope this is the right thread... I had a female friend ask if she could hook me up with a friend of hers, and I initially said no (as I usually do..I hate those situations), but after checking out the girl's profile, I figured, why not? So I added her, and dropper her the following message: "Hey there! I'm a friend of Jane's, we jammed together in TheBand, back in the day. Right off the bat, I gotta ask, is your left nostril really as big as it is in your picture?" Of course, the picture in question was just some goofy photoshopped image, so I figured I had easy material, but I haven't heard back from her yet, and it's been a little over a week, and she's definitely active on Facebook. I don't do well with losing, so this has actually bothered me a little. Think the nostril thing might've been too much? |

In my opinion... yeah. If your going for the indirect route then you drop the neg after like the 3rd message when she's replied already. You don't go out in the street and say to a girl 'wow that mole on your neck is even bigger up close' so I doubt you'd do the same online. If you want to try and sort it out send her another message and say you looked back at your sent messages and you realized how insulting it must of sounded or something like that try another message i mean it wont hurt. I also think if a girl tries to fix you up just say can you think about it and what's their name because you've been scorn in the past, that way if they're a hard rocking babe you can take your friend up on the offer and she will be a kick ass pivot for future reference. Any help? |
