Post subject:  Hello from Nova Scotia, Where to go from here...

Hey guys,

I'm Ewen from Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm 20 years old.

I came to the Community about five to six months ago when I read the life changing book 'The Game' by Neill Strauss. I really need a sense of direction because I am not achieving the desired results and am experiencing very little if any success.

I have slept with two women in my life, one being my former girlfriend of 18 months but considering the hundreds of women I have been come in direct contact with over the past 3 years through traveling and working abroad It is nerve-wracking. I am continuing to find difficulty attracting and escalating etc. with women.

This week I have purchased the 'Seduction Roadmap' by Sinn and hopefully this will be what I am looking for to begin really improving my game. Does anybody know if this is a good place to start?.

Currently I am studying GIS and Remote Sensing at a college about two hours from Halifax. If anyone else is from Atlantic Canada send me a message because I consistently travel around The Maritimes for the Army and Bagpiping and Soccer and hopefully some sarging could be set up.

Hey man,
Great to hear that your looking for some tips rather than just giving up. The post was a bit broad so I gotta ask, whats the deal with you actually going out? If you do go out how does it usually go and who are you with ect. With a little more info the community can make your dreams come true, hell they did it for me. Just dont forget about the next new guy!

Hey xiaolinpua,

when I go out, I tend to have massive problems with approach anxiety that I am linking to moving to Canada a few years ago from Scotland. I was generally shunned because of my accent and did poorly in social situations.

I am guessing I need more information or sources for becoming more socially dominant and improve conversations with male and female. Do you have any links perhaps?.

Hello and welcome to Canada. I would say the main issue you are having is the anxiety. it's a tough one to deal with. I suggest going out and having no motivation (what's so ever) to pick up women. Just be friendly to everyone. People will be naturally lured to your accent. ( trust me! its a blessing) As for the anxiety, it may not be so bad if you are just being friendly and know you have nothing to worry about. If this does work, keep doing it....until it feels as natural as smiling.

Then you are ready to get into the game.

If your accent is super strong, try to not drink too much..

Also, work on your body language....talking is only one line of communication ;)

Haha It has been a problem in the past but I feel like I have a more Canadian Accent now which is good and bad (the people in Canada have a massively hard time understanding a Scottish accent for some reason or another)

Also, I am having a hard time with the quoting of other messages on the posts, Funny question, but anyone know how to get the name of the person in the quote instead of 'Quote'?
