| Post subject: | How do I recover?! |
*Basically-met the girl of my dreams, she was def. into me, as she left, I asked for her number, she screamed it out but I could not make out the last 4 digits. Texted her the next day "Hey, what are you doing tonight" to no reply-know I will run into her again...what do I do/say/act??* Backstory-Alright, was playing ping pong with my best friend in my freshman college dorm one night, when this girl came in that I had seen a couple times. It was just the 3 of us in the lobby and she did not live there. I invited her to play and turned out she was almost as good as me. Over the course of an hour, getting to know her, I began to realize that she was the first girl I have met to meet/blow away my standards (Sry if it sounds like I'm stuck up or something, I'm not) and I was legitimately having trouble transitioning to getting her number. She kept telling us that she had to go to a party soon and was waiting on her friend to call her. Finally when she 'had to go', I watched her leave...only to chase out the door after her...and not see her anywhere. I walked back in only to realize she was watching me through the side of the building that I couldn't see. She came back for a bit and flirted a little more. Then as she was really leaving, I asked for her number 'in case she wanted to play ping pong again' (I know, should not have added that reason for getting it). She was walking away screaming it, and repeated it like 4 times. I got the first and middle part right, but the last part I was not sure about and she had already gone. This was 2 weeks ago, and I know she will be back in the lobby sometime when I am there. What I am wondering is if I can get some advice for how to treat the situation because in the past when I meet someone for the 2nd time, I always feel like it's an awkward encounter. I really like this girl and would love to date her! Thanks, Daniel. |

Treat her like an old friend, this is not just a situational advice but actually an attitude you should always have with girls and people in general. If you want to make things less awkard pretend like you've know her for a long time: tease her, play with her, joke.. whatever. Assume familiarity, got it? G |

Well shit, saw her the other day as I was walking to grab some food. I had gotten 2 hours of sleep the past 3 days, so I was kinda out of it and passed right by her. A min later I turned around realizing it was her and she was gone again! I should have turned around right away and asked for her number again, right?! |
