Post subject:  I Love the Game

All right, I'm 30. Yeah, that sucks. I just ended a decade long relationship/marriage (her fault, not mine of course) and am falling back into play. I love the art/science of the pickup and appreciate all of the spinoffs that come with it.

I work in mid-grade business, neither poor nor wealthy nor interesting. I love all of the struggles that follow us in everything we do. Embrace that struggle, because there's too much darkness if you wallow in life's trenches.

I've read the Mystery Method and done a fair amount of research. It's a good system. Again, I love the process and the ideas. I'm currently working on expanding my storytelling set and my introductory question(s) revolve around that:

Do you have suggestions for storytelling methods or tweaks that produce better results? Although I'm okay with complete absorption, I take the comedian approach. I believe it's okay to take a somewhat interesting story and tweak it to make it humorous. No one would question a comedian for altering the story to make people laugh, so why should I worry about it? Any other thoughts on this subject would be appreciated although I'm sure there are more on the site that I haven't found yet. I'm comfortable with lead-ins and transitions but I like openers that link to storytelling (personal preference for comfort is all).

Hey man welcome to the forum. If you're interested in a sort
of comedic or like funny/goofy style type of pickup I recommend
you learn from PUA Sasha. His approaches are golden
and the way he gets into his interactions is just
funny as hell and at the same time a great
way to learn that being funny is attractive.
Here's a link for you to watch his
style that I saw not too
long ago.

Enjoy and happy learning! ;)
