| Post subject: | Hello! |
I'm a 45 y.o. AFC coming out of a 11 month relationship where I was LJBF'ed. I said no I won't in my last text message to her, I burnt that bridge down. It was a very unpleasant emotional experience, so I started asking the question-Why did this happen to me? How can I keep it from happening again? These forums and other PUA sites have opened my eyes to a world I never knew of. I have resolved to improve myself, the shy, nice guy AFC is going to die a painless death, I won't miss him. As a recovering AFC, I have already walked out onto a sidewalk at my work and made eye contact with an attractive woman and said hi. (She smiled and said hi before I even got the "hi" out of my mouth.) That was a big step for me! Then I decided to sarge at a nearby Church, (I'm not a drinker or club-goer). I went up and sat in front of my target (around a 6, I'll have to raise my standards) got a decent conversation going with her about where I could put my 12 Y.O. daughter at while in the Church service. Yes, I did this with my 12 Y.O. daughter sitting next to me. (You think you have AA issues?) Then her husband came up and sat down beside her, LOL, that basically ended that set with no close, but she offered to show me where to take my daughter and got up and left her husband sitting there! LOL! That was fun actually, and seeing how a woman reacts to your attention makes it an interesting and rewarding experience even without a close. So now that I've tactically scoped out the available women there, I can proceed with a better approach and not get cockblocked next time. Once I approach most of the available targets, if I get no results, I'll move on to the next church. Praise the Lord! |

Uhm...wow lol. Welcome to the forum. The only question I have for you is, why a church? There are bars, coffee shops, clubs, grocery stores, music shops, malls... A church is a place of worship, atonement and forgiveness...last time I went to church (its Shul for me since i'm jewish) I think the majority of people attending are very conservative and have a lifestyle that does not allow them to be in multiple relations, adultery cannot be committed either, just bearing skin is a sin, swearing is against the rules, you cannot masterbate...Do you want to be in relationship with a women who is conservative, won't ever experiment, prays all day and won't give it to you at night? Dude, religion holds people back from enjoying life (not everyone but alot...) and you're trying to pick them up? Dude have some standards! I commend you for trying to bring some light into their lives and your own but honestly, in a church you're going to find only 2 types of women, the one who won't have sex until she's married (it probably wont be good sex cause only military position is allowed) and the other type is the one that is conservative and will be faithful to her husband and 5 kids. To me, a church seem's like the tacky and lazy place for a person to go pick up girls. Sure you'll find that ONE rebellious girl who goes out on a Friday night... and that's it! If you want to stop being and AFC and expand you're horizons and meet more attractive women, move away from the church vibe. I can't believe I just said "church vibe" haha. Just pointing something out, I know it's off topic but anyway... Religion is used a guideline to help us get in the direction in life. And, if you're a christian, hindu, jew, arab...whatever I don't care, the first rule above everything else is that you're god gave you FREE WILL. You can do what the fuck you want, when and how you choose. He won't take away your life or send you to hell in the end just because you disagree with something in your bible. Life is all about experience and if you're religion is holding you back from enjoying certain experiences in life... That's for you to decide, not god. |

Yeah, I don't think it's the best place, it helped me a little with AA, but that's about it. I'm going to have to expand my horizons. |

100% man move away from that and look onto more exciting or just more social places! They don't have to be clubs or bars right away, go practice at a mall, grocery store or even a coffee shop. Have you seen VH1's THE PICKUP ARTIST? If you haven't I highly recommend you do, it will give you alot of insight into the pickup community and how just simple changes can impact in the biggest and best attributes of your life |
