Post subject:  New to the Game in Boston...Sorry for the long read

Hey guys,

So little bit about myself. I'm 20 years old from outside Philly, but go to college in Boston. I am brand new to the game and got into it after reading Neil Strauss' "The Game." It all seemed pretty foreign to me and so I started googling it and came to this forum and decided to see what could come of it.

The reason I have for joining the forum is that women for me is the one part of my life I am not content with. I would say I'm average looking to a little above average, have great friends, and would consider myself fairly intelligent. However, when it girls I just draw a blank. I get anxious approaching women unless I know I have no intention of hooking up with them and honestly whenever I go out with friends I am never the one to initiate the conversations with girls because I just don't even know what I would say. I have only had sex with one girl who was my on again off again girlfriend for senior year of high school and freshmen year of college. My second year of college I hooked up a few times but could not close. I think the most frightening things for me when it comes to meeting girls is my lack of experience with them. Aside from just kissing, my girlfriend was the only person I'd had to "perform" for and she was against anything aside from straight sex, which I normally was not complaining about but after it was over and I realized when it came to foreplay I was pretty incompetent my self-confidence took a hit. It also didn't help that all my close friends were either in committed relationships or getting laid frequently. I knew I needed to make a change but didn't know how to until I saw a friend reading Strauss' book and I decided to pick it up.

I am really looking forward to getting started and would appreciate any tips on the best way to get started because I am like a fish out of water right now.
