Post subject:  Holy cow! A plateau???

Hey guys, I'm a newbie and started the game a while back. I did some approaches like a month back and had some built up confidence back then to do them. But now I'm back in college after a vacation and want to start my learning curve again. I am full aware that this is a long process and that I should take one step at a time, and so I want to start approaching again for starters. I have no confidence in me for approaching, and Ive forgotten all my material including openers, plus Ive got a major exam coming up next month. Should I focus on getting back in the game or the exam? I know this is a rant but its pretty frustrating when you learn about the game, start practicing it, and then forget all the stuff due to inaction for a month and want to get back on to practice, but your way is blocked due to a major exam. Plus I want to get laid. Point blank. No doubt about it (I'm an AFC virgin) . What do you think guys?

You need to prioritize your life. Game is never more important than personal development and school and work, but you can still do both if you are so inclined. If you are in two different frames of mind at the same time you will fail at both. You need to work on your inner game and everything else will come into alignment.

Thank you for the reply! Yes Ive been thinking that too. Failing at med school is too much of a hit to take. I guess I just need to pull myself together and prioritize like you said. But there is this girl that I literally adore who comes to teach me some days. There is much competition for her and she is super cute. I'm worried that by the time that the exams are over and I'm ready, Id have lost her. I wish I knew enough to run the game on her, but as I mentioned earlier I'm a newbie. Learning and gaining experience takes time in any art. Exams plus potential soul mate. What now?

There is no such thing as a soul mate, so ease up.

Oh, I see. You have oneitis. The only solution to oneitis is to for the most part forget about that girl and game other women.

You can still run some game on that girl, but just don't be outcome dependent. If it doesn't work then try not to let it bother you and either move on to other girls or just focus on your studies.

Hehe! Having grown up in a culture that literally idolizes romanticism, I am "supposed" to believe in a soul mate. But you are absolutely correct. According to my experience, there is no such thing.

"Should I focus on getting back in the game or the exam?"- Is it really impossible to do both? The average person uses less than half of their time productively, and unless you're an extreme outlier, chances are you can do both.
It's easy to rationalize putting off game until you're circumstances are better, but that time may never come. Really, we have an emotional resistance to going out and meeting women and we come up with seemingly good logical excuses to put off action taking.
Are you going to listen to the voice in your head that says, "I can't until later?" or are you going to go for what you want despite your circumstances? Not later, but now.

comes to the point where game comes natural at you/us, I take every chance i can get to game women, on my normal daily routine sometimes chances arise and I take them, gaming women it does not need to be you have to be on a date with every single women you meet, I like to approach and get better at pick up sometimes yes I would set a date and time to meet but if I have important stuff to do in the next following days all I do is take their numbers and try to be on touch with them until the time is right for me to meet them. some chicks will never text me back but some do.
