text messages seem to be my only sticking point... should always start the conversation short?

RC's has a texting guy stickied at the top of the "Closing" and Day 2 " section of the forum. I think its also in his Sig.

Although... I always encourage guys to pick up the phone and call, at least until the emotional connection is solidified.

I'm kind of looking for something more...

I've been texting with this woman i'm dating(two dates) for awhile.... she added me as a facebook "friend"... I didn't respond to her for three days... she mentioned that SPAM and facebook would be the only way to get in touch with her while she's abroad for two weeks

there's been a lull in the conversation

I received a message from this woman I went on two dates with saying

"youre starting to freak me out cuz you're sending me weird messages"

I sent her a picture of this sex shop store front as a joke because she's not into that I said jk

I wasn't sure how to respond to her message. I took it as she was informing me not that she didn't want to have anything to do with me.... she asked me out two times. so it's my text messages that are killing things...

Happens to 99% of guys.

The phone is for setting meet-ups only early on.

You're not married, or exclusive. So why does this matter?

Embrace the lulls. This is how emotionally-centered men behave early on.

whatever... don't care..

I'll call her in a couple of days and ask "wait so why do you say you're freaking out?"

I did respond; am regretting it

Sounds like you were Mr. Nice Guy on the two dates and failed to escslate, so you tried to get sexual over text and creeper her out.

It sucks that every girl you're interested in is taken or has good taste in men.

Haywood, I'm curious to see some of the chicks you bang; hope you're not all talk and a pua-forum troll...lol

it's the same chick... too many texts... I think i'm over texting and killing attraction

you might be right about the escalation...on the date she told me I look good... I don't think my messages to her were really that sexual or weird:

example "In your face nadal fan go Fed! so when are you going to share something sweet and stimulating w me" (colombian chocolates)".... she had mentioned that she would give me some somtime

This chick is really complicated; not worth it; when we met in the a night club she mentioned career paths and wanted to know if i did drugs... this is the second time she's brought up... I told her that I'm in a night club and don't talk about careers in such settings... and then told her You're such a serious chick... to which she responded with "yes I am serious"

I responded to her message with:
I was joking
ok later then
There's a store in blank. I thought it was funny; I know you're not into that. Anyway I won't talk you further then

I don't plan on talking to her for a week or more...
I don't think I'm too nice to her, but maybe I'm wrong

example:
Her:ok my friend wants to go out so we're going out.... Still want to meet at ?

Me: Gee

her: yes was the right answer...not gee

You think? Get off your phone and hit the gym.

They seem more complicated when they don't perceive you as dominant.

That's pathetic, lol. Going into explanation mode with a girl youve never fucked is weak behavior.

You're in love with your phone. Text way less, and get to the point when you do text.

Grow a pair and ask her to meet next time she contacts you, then escalate and have fun.

Haywood I had some xrated fun Monday.... I was more or less being insecure with this one chick

Thanks for the feedback; it helped me realize some things about myself

arch Stanton would you have not responded to her message if she had sent that message to you? (about freaking out)

me:Hey are you still freaking out? If not, I am going to st Francis next week... come join if you're available...
i'll prob go evening service

her:Ok I'll let you know

me:ok I'll let you when I'm going lol...

should I not be messaging her anymore like I was? now that we've met up 2-3 times or because she's not so interested right now, it comes across insecure... I'm asking because this seems to happened consistently...
