Post subject:  Question for older PUA's.. how important is money?

I am about to turn 23 and haven't done much with my life career wise. As a college drop-out who has spent most of his time pursuing hobbies, drinking and chasing women I have managed to gain the social skills I lacked back in high school and became more of an alpha male to the extent I am actually better at picking up girls than most other guys my age even though they have more money than me.

My concern is I am now approaching an age where the women I am gaming are more mature and I only earn £16k a year.. just wanted to find out from you older guys (with strong PUA experience) how much of an issue this will be?

If I'm totally honest I feel that although I'm lucky enough to have a job in this current economic crisis and perhaps a little superior to those unemployed, it's going to be an issue against guys who are making more and can afford slightly better luxuries. At the same time I would like to think my PUA skills will still count for something in the years to come?

It depends, ambition an the potential to make money in the future are actually more important than anything.

You could be flat broke and girls will still like you, provided you have clear goals in life and a reasonable chance of achieving them it's usually ok.

If you are a do nothing loser, with no ambition who lives with his parents? You're fucked, not in a good way either.

Your PUA skills will always help you.

It's supposed to be about having a better life. Never forget that.

Now, on to the women. Think about it this way. The older you get, the less 'prime' selection there is. Women will be thrilled that there's still a cool confident guy that's still out there to talk to. The more time goes on, the less alphas there are, and the more beta's still waiting. But it's like Matt said. You need to have that ambition to actually do something with your life to KEEP said women if you decide the time ever comes.

Get back in college. Look for a promotion. Never just sit around doing anything.

ALWAYS LOOK FOR SOMETHING TO DO TO BETTER YOUR LIFESTYLE.

Money is as important to women as it is to you. Obviously, if you had more money you would be able to do more, better shit. And you'd probably be happier. But it's not everything.

With women it's the same thing. You will get more women and better women if you have more money (for the most part), but it doesn't mean you are screwed if you are poor. You can still get women.

What you generally want to do is let women know you are happy with what you do, irregardless of how much you make. And show them that you have some sort of plan or aspirations for future success. Then make it seem like people who only want money are shallow, that way she will be reluctant to use your financial situation against you for fear of looking shallow.

For strictly sexual relationships, it doesn't matter most of the time, but its awesome when girls see your car and house and realize u make good money. Money generally means you are smart, hardworking, and powerful.

Lots of successful chicks have no interest in guys that make less money than them. They also tend to hang out in places where other successful people hang out.

Then, there's the goldiggers.....

Trust me on this...NOT AT ALL! Money is irrelevant in attracting women. One of my best friend in late 20s is always broke but getting girls left and right.

He's actually a starving artist but has this youthful childlike demeanor that girls can't resist, but relationship wise is another story.

The factor of money comes in more if you're looking to settle down.

Well, it depends upon what you want out of life or a particular woman.

If you want to fuck, to have multiple one night stands or multiple open relationships with women who expect you to provide good sex and nothing else, IT IS ACTUALLY BETTER TO BE BROKE!

I mean, if a woman is having fun with you, she won't even ask about your job because it would ruin the mood.

If you make a woman feel sexy and she knows you won't judge her or tell your friends about it, she will take advantage of the opportunity to live out her fantasies and your bank account will be the last thing on her mind.

I mean, seriously, if a stable, middle-class accountant meets a mysterious woman in a bar, does he care if she has a job or not? He clearly won't care if she is married, does coke, or has an eating disorder, as long as he has his one chance in life to fuck a chick like in a real-live porn movie.

I have been wealthy and I have been poor and, as a matter of fact, I still claim to be unemployed when meeting women. The only time that I let women know that I am not exactly poor is when I take a few days to drive somewhere with a woman to eat in nice restaurants, stay in a nice hotel, spray her naked body with champagne, etc., but that is only with women whom I have already fucked many times while they thought I was poor and have accepted me as I am.

Lastly, SINCE FUCKIN WHEN IS 23 CONSIDERED OLD?!?!?!

Seriously dude, most guys your age are just getting out of the uni or the military and working a real job for the first time in their lives, so don't get down on yourself because you're not CEO of your company yet.

Also, if you're unhappy with your financial affairs, use those negative feelings as leverage to motivate yourself to going back to the uni, getting a better job, starting your own business or investing the little money you do earn.

Finally, like I always say: "The bottom line is the bottom line!"

That means, it isn't important what you earn, but what you keep. A guy who earns very little, but lives modestly and doesn't have any debt will have more money at the end of the month (which he can save or invest) than a guy who earns much more, but spends it all, often in the form of paying loans that he takes out to buy what he cannot afford, all in the name of "keeping up with the Jonses."

Thanks for the advice man I am starting training for a new career next year which will earn me more money in the long run and could allow me to move to a nicer country with a better quality of women in the future.

Also big thanks to the other guys aswell I can see how money isn't the be all and end all when it comes to hooking up later in life but I am hoping to find a decent relationship with a girl who is 9/10
