Ok, I have gone on a date or two that I planned for the next day, but it seems like you're much more likely to get rejected than if you had tried to plan a date a few days in advance. Let me explain. It seems like:

1) The person you're asking out for the next day may be a little embarrassed to admit they have no plans for the next day (at whatever time you're asking them out).
2) If you are someone who asks someone out for the next day, you also weren't cool enough to have plans for the next day.
3) People are more likely to have plans for the very next day than say, 2 to 4 days from now. So even if 1) and 2) aren't true, then you're still not likely to successfully set up a date for the next day.
4) It can be seen as slightly rude to ask someone out for the very next day, because it gives them little time to prepare for it. Some women like to get waxes, ask their girlfriends for advice, or do their nails, etc.

Do you guys agree with what I said above, or am I over-analyzing? Are you more likely to have your date idea rejected if you try to plan it for the next day? I know 1), 2), and 4) sound kinda dumb, but social constructs and the things people imply can be that way...

Next day dates usually work out well for me. The thing is that I don't make those types of dates for weekends.

Sure, but why do that for a weekend and not a weekday?

People make plans for the weekends but not usually on a weekday. Weekdays tend to be more relaxed and women let their guard down.

As Jack said, don't plan first date on weekends. Those are generally reserved for friends.
