Text game question. Trying to banter to reestablish rapport with an ex here. (Sorry if this is the wrong place for that question, but it appears to be where text game issues are being discussed.)

That is crazy. Went to a satanic mass last night. It was fun!

Actually sounds pretty intriguing. Was [local occultist] involved?

And now you've got me intrigued with the fotay into the graveyard.

No, Brian wasn't involved. The graveyard comment came out of nowhere - I haven't been to one recently, thank goodness

Thank goodness? I bet you'd make a spontaneous graveyard adventure a total blast. There must be all sorts of cool ones in LA.

Or entirely unstructured outings. Imagining you in an all black outfit with those fiery locks. Scaring away the vampires. Or partying with them.

Maybe with a big silver cross, displayed commandingly. "Here I am, creatures of the night! If you don't want a stake through the heart, show me what you've got! The faintest taste of me has been known to drive your kind delirious . . . ."

Dunno. At 43 you might still be able to get *some* vampires going.

The flaming hair thing goes a long way with the undead.

I'm still working my way through the living

There's something to be said for the living. I mean, vamps may be too jaded--just interested in going straight for a sip of ambrosia from your awesome neck. While the living might want to relish the playful way you dance with words, or listen to you sing in B-flat.

Exactly
* * * * *
Trying for some push-pull here—not sure how successfully. E.g., she might wonder whether it’s a compliment to talk about her singing in B-flat. Ditto for the bit about attracting vamps at 43. Mixed with compliments, obviously.
My final line here was maybe too heavy and not playful enough? I liked flipping things a little, though: seemed as if she was reminding me that she was seeing other people—the living; but I think my reply in effect equated the vamps with the guys she’s seeing and the living with me.
