I'm going to lay it out, unlike 90% of women out there that deny it. Women love assholes. BUT! And I say but because this but is really important if you are or plan on becoming an asshole. It's the 'concentration', so to speak, of asshole that matters here. If you come across as >80% asshole, it's probably not going to workout with women. Okay, maybe one night stands, easy lays, mentally messed up girls. But for normal women, you're probably not going to hook her in long-term relationship speaking. See, you have to show your nice, gentle, caring side first before you squeeze in the asshole. I'm not saying be a door mat. Be confident, but confidently nice. Then, when you've got that connection, you can introduce the asshole. I'm not saying treat her like shit (though some women, and men!, lap that up), but you can sprinkle it here and there. I've noticed this too with men. If I'm sweet girl 100%, he loses interest, or mistreats me, or blows me off, etc. But if I'm a little bitchy, a little demanding, a little aggressive, his interest spikes up. He wants me more. He does more. He tries harder to please. |

I think the most important thing is that both the man and woman respect each other and their boundaries. As long as she understands that what I say won't be filtered, like how I think every sappy movie where the man gets a girl after going through a whole ordeal is nonsense. Or how I think sex and the city the movie is pretty much a whole movie about entitled princesses who are whining. and don't get me started on twilight... and why do men have to start out nice, caring and gentle. That's what I would tell someone who was petting my cat or who was carrying my t.v. I am probably doing myself a disservice if I am not sexually expressive in the beginning. That's the quickest way to the friendzone. |

Just sounds to me like you've described a well balanced person. Overall kind, but with some attitude (for contrast) and not a pushover. Kindness was a trait that women found positive in an attraction research study, thought I forget the definition of "kindness" that they used. |

Uh, this is the problem of the proverbial nice guy. He's too nice. He let's women step all over him. He doesn't show any alpha traits when dating. Secondly, you'd be surprised what some women love. There are a number of alpha females out there that enjoy dominating men. They specifically choose partners like that. Some women love to have all the power in the relationship, just as a lot of men do. |

We’re not Assholes because we’re terrible people; we’re Assholes because it’s fucking awesome. Everyone fucking knows guys like me don’t take girls out on dates, or show up to their door with flowers or god forbid “spend time” with them when we‘re sober. We bang those girls then never fucking talk to them again. But somehow, even though we aren’t the sweet guy of their dreams, they still fucking text us at like 3 am looking for another late night hookup! Weird. |
