Post subject:  Office game report ? (going nuts)

Here is a case of totally different game (office). I m in this work place a year, already know most good-looking girls, banged 2-3 of them, and generally can say i could easily pull others too. Too bad most people see chicks saying hello/ask for coffee often so it's gotten me a 'nasty' reputation already.

Anyways, a girl joined the team 2 months ago..i was immediately very attracted to her (although more like a 7, not a typical pretty 8 or 9) and my mates said they could see the same from her side. I kept teasing/negging her big-time, and she seemed to love it. we quickly established rapport, a couple of drinks after work with great chats; she'd always ask for coffee breaks, exchanging flirty texts during weekends, at some point i was almost thinking she is getting obsessed, so i sort of pulled back a bit; trying to maintain some coworker relationship. I was intending to slowly move on to her, but work environment is tricky; didnt want to make things awkward or move in too early, so kept things casual with no moves from my end.

when i decided to get things moving with subtle flirting at work (some times i was quite obvious), things turned very quickly to cycles of flirting from her side vs. being cold and not being responsive to texts or drink invites etc..I ve not been 'hit ' so hard by a girl in ages and this shit is getting me nuts.

At this point i m just wondering if that was a play to get my attention and now doesnt care; it was never flirt just a 'flirty' girl with genuine interest/friendliness, is she playing hard to get/she s made out i play around with girls...no clue what is really going on here.

Anyone that can relate at all?

You backed off when she was interested and when you didn't take advantage of that moment, she lost interest in you. It's not playing hard to get or thinking you play around with girls. It's her just moving on.

if true, this would suck big-time..that work environment influenced my decision a lot
i know this sounds like a loser's question(and it probably is :))..any pointers on trying to get that momentum back?

Man fair play for fucking girls you work with. I work in a massive corporate company and there's never a great time to go chat to a girl unless I time our trip to the kitchen at the same time. But I think know its better to keep a distance as you run the risk of sexual harassment and awkwardness.

Just my opinion but if it's worked for you fine.
